Brazellica

I work with authors at Federated Media, a John Battelle production. John’s a great guy, and FM’s a cool company; I’m lucky to be part of it.

My background: I worked in the locked units of a psychiatric hospital for three years. That was great training for working with writers, few of whom have ever tried to bite me. I was a news editor at the Industry Standard, a book editor at Penguin Portfolio, and the director of publisher relations at Readia, an educational technology startup that almost changed the way children learn to read.

I drink a lot of herbal tea, and I believe that its trace amounts of ‘hibiscus,’ ‘chicory root,’ ‘blackberry leaves’ and ‘rose hips’ are improving my health in a way that science will fail to appreciate for decades.
